Blog Tour for Making Peg Dolls Launches Monday

 Dearest all --

The Making Peg Dolls blog tour starts Monday, and I have something fun to share with you.  All during the time I was planning the blog tour, in my mind, I kept thinking of it as a "blog tour parade," imagining tiny, peg doll-sized trumpets blowing tiny fanfares.  This idea of a little peg doll parade was so stuck in my head, that I was compelled to create one.  The result is this:

Truly, this is a trumpet fanfare, of thanks and gratitude to you. To each and every person, thank you for your support and encouragement towards this peg doll book project.  Thank you for your kind comments via my blog and facebook, for your friendly emails and for the beautiful photos of peg dolls created by both you & your children.  Every message has made me smile and brought me so much joy!

And finally, an especially big, star-spangled thank you to Hawthorn Press for providing books for the blog tour... And most of all, for having faith in this beautiful peg doll project.

See you Monday!!

    1. Hi Cynthia -- You can order it from Amazon, Book Depository UK (with free shipping world wide), Barnes and Noble, or order it at your local book seller to pick up at the store. As of today it is available and should ship promptly from all retailers.

Best wishes (and I hope you enjoy the book!)

  4. Hello Georgie! Thank you for your kind words about the book and videos :-) Here is a link for information about the gentleman who composed the music for first video http://audiojungle.net/user/jhunger And for the second video, we paid a small fee to use the marching band music royalty-free. I think it's a rather famous marching band theme (though we didn't know this at the time we added the music to the video.)

I hope you have fun with the book!

    Best wishes to you --

  6. Hello Margaret, me again. I have your book and i am lost for words it is amazing. Just need a window of opportunity to get started now. I may have sold a few more books by generally running about squealing and showing everyone, and my daughter also cannot wait to get started! Anyway, it was just meant to be quick! Can i buy the patterns at all for the felt animals in the nativity, they r lush... Xx

  7. Oh, Georgie -- you are sweet! And you are not the first person to ask about the animals in the nativity. I would have liked to have included the patterns, but there was no space in the book. I have the very rough patterns I created, and I hope, at some point, to create formal patterns which can be used by others. Perhaps in a magazine article or some other format. Stay tuned! I will keep you posted!!

Thank you for your kind words and enthusiasm about the book --
Big smile from me and hurrah!
