The quote came to mind again because we've been on a Dr. Seuss kick around here with repeated readings of The Lorax & The Butter Battle Book. There are so many wonderful books by Dr. Seuss, but these are 2 of my favorites and, of course, they elicit the best discussions...

Hey Laurie Anne (she of the fabulous cowboy boots!) I loved Bartholomew & the Ooblek as a child, too (but always thought it was rather creepy... Oobleck from the sky... bleah!) Recently we read The 500 Hats of Bartholomew Cubbins -- lots of fun (but also a little spooky...)
