Love-Bug Give Away!!



It seems the Love-Bugs are staging a protest.  What are they demanding? More love! More hugs! More kisses! More pink sugar candy hearts!



I am giving away two sets of Love-Bugs (one big and one little per set.)  To enter this give away, please leave a comment below this post, and be sure I have your email so I can get in touch if you are one of the winners.  For added fun, you may tell me about the best Valentine surprise you ever received or type in a little Valentine poem!

Comments for the give away will close at 12:00 noon, Pacific Standard Time, on Valentines Day (February 14.) Two winners will be chosen via random drawing and announced at that time.

I tell you the best Valentine suprise I got was last year my boyfriend of 11 years, father to my two beautiful children named a star after me ... you can buy these gift packs see with the map of the sky and the exact location and scientific reference for your star and a certificate that says it also carries your name ... he'll have a hard time beating that this year! x (gipsyrose@hotmail.co.uk)

  3. oh what a sweet giveaway! sweetest Valentines surprise (because we really don't do many gift exchanges, my Mister & I) was probably a beautiful album he had delivered to me in my dorm room in London UK where I was doing my Master's for a year. we hadn't yet become altogether too serious but it was clear he wanted me to have a book to put all of our memories to come in. and it was incredibly heartfelt, and practical all at the same time - so HIM.

  4. Lucky number one?
    When I lived in Northern Ireland I received an anonymous Valentine which is the tradition in the UK. Exciting! My b-day is two days before V Day so I always associate it with good things...cinnamon hearts on a white cake, red and pink balloons, violets, and all those 'traditional' things! I've ordered some peg dolls just to make these love bugs!!

  8. My highschool boyfriend took me to see the "Justice" tour, Metallica...yep I am now 43 with 3 kiddos 1,3 and 6. Old and tired...no one would ever look at me and think "wild child"...lol

    Makes me imagine all sorts of things when I look at the elderly...what crazy wonderful adventures???

      and yes, I too love looking at people and wondering what adventures they've had along their paths through life (or why they chose to wear that particular shirt today, or what thoughts ran through their head as they brushed their teeth this morning...)

  37. Hi, I am terrible at poetry, so I have a little story instead. My most memorable valentines day was 6 years ago. I was in hospital after having given birth to my first child, and feeling a little blue as I sat alone watching parades of partners arrive with flowers and presents for the other new mums. When my hubby finally arrived - empty handed- I complained about not getting anything. He promptly pointed out that I had just got a new baby, what more could I want?! What a save!! To this day he still has never remembered valentines day, but every year I still think of my little boy as my valentines present. We adore the love bugs! fledglingshollow at gmail dot com
