The first book I'm giving away is a 2007 edition of Crafting with Felt by Petra Berger.
The other book is The House Above the Trees by Ethel Cook Eliot!
And to top things off, today I am, as my friend Shannon would say, "famous in my own pincushion!" I felt so honored when Arianne, of the beautiful blog Still Parenting, asked if I would do a little interview with her. If you'd like to see the interview, please have a look here...
Wahoo! Congrats on the milestone and thanks for doing the interview. You are one neat lady.

What kind of cake?
ReplyDeleteI'm busy planning you the most wonderful pincushion!
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThe book by Petra Berger is sure to be full of wonderful inspiration. I have a different one of hers and love it.
Oh! Shannon! A real, live pin cushion? Really?! Really?! Because you don't know how happy that would make me... I really need a new pin cushion! Mine is in a sorry state: ugly, ancient, cheap and sort of "standard issue." You can see a photo of it in this post here http://webloomhere.blogspot.com/2010/06/tidy.html
ReplyDeleteKate, of Foxs Lane did a pin cushion-swap last March and I missed out. I was so sad.
Ooooh, please tell me it's not a metaphoric pin-cushion but a real-live one! Now, if you'll please excuse me, I'm going to go skip circles around the kitchen!
What kind of cake? Vanilla with vanilla frosting... not my favorite but we were out of chocolate (I prefer chocolate cake with vanilla frosting.) I also botched up the cake... I was busy flirting with my wee Bloom and so didn't read the recipe carefully. I added double the milk. To solve the problem, I added an extra cup of flour. The cake was not very sweet, but the icing solved that problem!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! And many more to come!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! Our Feltcraft copy is well loved, but we have been hoping to get a copy of The House Above The Trees. Thanks for inviting us to the celebration!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! yes a real live pin cushion :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! Happy anniversary!!
